Inspiration Behind PJ Poet
In 2008, PJ Poet was hired to write poetry for Braille Art, creating three pieces: America’s Wind Energy, America’s Solar Energy, and America’s Farming Energy. In 2011, inspired by the farmer’s field next door, he wrote the first Knock On Corn
PJ Poet was born from a simple truth: creativity becomes most powerful when it’s used to lift others. The name reflects a lifelong habit of turning experiences—hard work, caregiving, vision, and resilience—into words that encourage, comfort, and inspire. It’s a reminder that poetry isn’t just written; it’s lived.
